My partner and I attended this class, and we’re so glad we did! Alison and Marlene were both fantastic, the class covered a great range of topics from first signs of labour through to postpartum recovery, and the breadth of information shared was... great; there’s no bias placed on what you should or shouldn’t choose to do, outside of ensuring that whatever decision you make is safe. Their professional experience working at BC Women’s Hospital is exceptionally handy if you also plan to deliver there. Both my partner and I feel much more confident about what to expect, and prepared to handle anything unexpected that may arise.read more

I recently attended this prenatal class, and it was an incredibly valuable experience. The instructors were knowledgeable and approachable, providing in-depth information about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum care. The class covered a wide range of... topics, from nutrition and exercise to pain management techniques during labor. I appreciated the opportunity to ask questions and interact with other expectant parents, which created a supportive and welcoming environment. The hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises were particularly helpful in preparing for childbirth. Overall, the prenatal class was informative, reassuring, and left me feeling more confident about the journey ahead. Highly recommended for all expecting parents. Thank you again guys! I feel more than readyread more

The class was super useful and I learned a ton. Alison and Marlene kept it fun and interesting. I took the full day course but there's also an option of evening classes that would spread out the amount of info to take in.

Alison and Marlene's Down to Birth prenatal class was so informative, especially for those mamas delivering at BC Women's. They shared so many insights on what to expect from the moment you arrive at the hospital, through all stages of labour and... delivery, and for those first few hours/days postpartum. After taking the class, I am feeling much more confident and prepared for labour and delivery!read more

Just completed their one day course, and I can not say enough great things about it! Alison and Marlene are amazing!! They are oozing with useful birthing knowledge, and are super funny and engaging. At first, I thought I would only be doing this... for my husband, but I also learned so much! If only I could shrink them and put them in my hospital bag when that big day comes. 😝read more

The Down to Birth Prenatal pre-natal course gave my husband and I the information and confidence we needed to feel prepared for labour and parenthood. We found Alison and Marlene were so knowledgeable, humorous, and matter-of-fact in their teaching.... We went through the stages of labour and what to expect and had a lot of our questions answered. There were a few videos shown in class that was helpful for us to gain an understanding in the labour process and the aftermath. The class also included some very useful information for breastfeeding and the choices couples could face during delivery. We felt good about having all the information presented to us to consider and felt it wasn't biased one way or another. My husband and I both agree that we were glad we took Alison and Marlene’s class. We feel it helped with our understanding and addressed our fears and anxiety. I highly recommend this class.read more
